Three water circuits
Simple, self-sealing hose ports eliminate water spillage and maximize performance, efficiency, and speed to target temperature. All three water circuits can be individually monitored for ease of use.

Patient graphs
Patient graphs provide information about the patient, target, and water temperature as well as power levels in order to help effectively analyze treatment.
Situational help
Situational help offers assistance and guidance in the case of an alarm in order to properly educate users as to the cause of the alert and how to correct the situation.

The user-friendly graphic interface makes it easy to initiate patient therapy with just a few simple taps of the finger. These prompts ensure easy setup, especially during highly critical, low frequency situations.

No aerosolization of bacteria
Since 2015, the FDA issued three safety communications about a potential association between patient infections and water-based heater-cooler devices. Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) might have aerosolized into the operating room from the devices and caused serious illness and death of patients.1-4 Rigorous tests performed by an independent laboratory verified that Altrix, when used and maintained according to manufacturer instructions, does not aerosolize microbes from its water system.
Advanced skin protection
- Non-gel-adhesive, will not stick to a patient’s skin potentially removing skin upon wrap removal, or leaving adhesive on a patient’s skin. Our wraps are soft non-woven fabric to promote skin integrity.
- Insulated to prevent condensation, reducing wetness near patient’s skin which is a skin integrity risk.
Fast, easily prompted therapy
Accuracy in therapy management is critical, which is why Altrix measures patient temperatures every 1.3 seconds. This rapid responsiveness uses thousands of power settings to achieve steady state patient control with ± 0.1° C.*

Altrix Wraps
The Altrix wraps were designed with the patient and caregiver in mind. The non-invasive and non-adhesive wraps provide increased surface area contact, helping to reduce air gaps that can occur between surface cooling and warming devices and patients’ skin.
Maximum efficiency
Fast therapy management means Altrix can reach water target temperatures 50% faster, and patient target temperatures 40% faster than Medi-Therm.*
